The Xiangyang BYD Film Workshop Purification and Decoration Project is located in the BYD Industrial Park, Xiangzhou District, Xiangyang City, Hubei Province. The total investment for Phase I is 10 billion yuan. Construction is expected to be completed within one year from the start of construction, and production is expected to commence within two years from the start of operation. Once the project reaches full production capacity, it will achieve an annual production scale of 30 GWh of power batteries, generating an output value of 14 billion yuan. The construction scope includes the construction of the No. 1 plant film workshop and coating workshop, with a total construction area of approximately 42,500 square meters. The first floor will accommodate five production lines each for positive and negative electrodes, while the secondary area will consist of control rooms, office areas, and three coating production lines.
